"In my 9 years in the real estate business, I've seen far too many people lose tens of thousands of dollars because of misinformation or because they let fear and other emotions that came up when buying and selling a home cloud their thinking," says Esther.
Having successfully completed many real estate transactions, Esther has considerable first hand experience as a professional working with real estate agents, both good and bad.
She started Exclusive Homes of Las Vegas as a division of her real estate business in 1997 after finding that so many properties needed professional interior and exterior design or, “Staging” for sale advice beyond the scope of their normal real estate agents ability.
One client, for example, was worried about spending $500 staging their $900,000 home as their previous realtor (friend) suggested they reduce the price. I staged it, listed and sold it within 30 days.
"While the previous suggestion was clearly penny wise and pound foolish," Esther says, "I was even more concerned that they were putting their house on the market at the end of the season and listing with a friend who had no seasoned experience!" At the end they were happy that they made the right choice.
